Ashley and Christopher Burrows, Likya Hotel and Salt and Pepper Restaurant June 2016

We had been to Kalkan once before we got engaged and loved it, we knew the beautiful scenery and Turkish hospitality would be perfect and would be loved by our friends and family alike.  We met Rosie once before our trip to get married and felt her to be knowledgeable, organised and imaginative.  We decided to do the ceremony at the Likya hotel overlooking the gorgeous bay, followed by a meal and dancing at the Salt and Pepper restaurant.  Rosie was great in organising everything from the big things through to the little details and made the entire holiday stress free and the day extra special.  We had a beautiful Turkish meal, with fireworks and dancing afterwards and all of our friends and family loved it as much as we did.  Rosie made the whole experience extra special, she was there at every step with us and arranged all of the extra details for us including hair trials, belly dancer, fireworks, cake and drinks. She has superb local contacts and is well known in the town which put us at ease straight away.

Thanks so much to Rosie and Feridun for all of your help to make our wedding day so spectacular 🙂

Rosie and Andrew Pritchard Kulenin Evi September 2015

We had decided to get married about 10 weeks before the holiday. We contacted Rosie – the co proprietor of Kalkan Concierge – discussed all the options for a small intimate and surprise wedding. Rosie is a delightful lady. She is cheerful, professional, positive, very knowledgeable and with great local contacts. We explored a number of venue options for the wedding and she was able to give us advice on what might best be suitable.
We decided to use the magical rooftop terrace of Kulenin Evi for the service with a celebratory meal at Kalamaki. I checked with Wendy out of courtesy and she was delighted. (and sent us a bottle of bubbly on the day via the agent Abi Travel – who also gave us a beautiful chocolate cake)
Much of the pre marriage paperwork can now be done within the UK. Once we arrived in Kalkan we met Rosie (in secret) and handed her all the paperwork. She took us for the mandatory medical and kindly went to Kas on her own to finalise the detail with the Registrar.
Rosie also booked the restaurant, the photographer, arranged for flowers at the Villa and restaurant.
We chose our wedding rings from Yardan. These were fitted and perfect in 2 days.
The roof terrace was laid out with table dressed with flowers and chairs for the guests. The Registrar from Kas arrived. The wedding took place at 6.30 pm. Rosie acted as master of ceremonies and interpreter. The sun gently set. We were married. Such a happy, stress free, memorable and romantic day.

Alex and Steve Johnstone Deniz Feneri Lighthouse hotel September 2015

When Steve and I got engaged at Christmas 2015 in Antigua we agreed that  we wanted to get married as close to the sea as possible.

We came back to the UK and started making enquiries and discovered that it wasn’t possible to get married in England in a simple ceremony by the sea , as there had to be a structure with a roof that’s moored to its foundation. Strange but true ! If we had realised the obstacles we would have got married in Antigua.

We had a holiday to Turkey booked for September, so we thought maybe we could do it there. It was second time round for Steve, and although I’d never been married before I had been with my partner for 26 years and had two daughters, so we only wanted a small affair, with just our three daughters ( Steve has one ) and their boyfriends as guests.
I spoke to Exclusive Escapes, sadly no longer trading, who advised me that they worked with a Wedding Planner , Rosie, whose company Kalkan Concierge was based in Kalkan , about half an hours drive from Kas, where we were going to be staying.
I got in touch with Rosie who said our dream wedding would indeed be possible, it could take place at the beautiful Deniz Feneri Lighthouse, the hotel we were staying at, and she would be happy to organise it for us.

Rosie sent a checklist of what we needed to do this end, various legalities that had to be gone through before the marriage could be legalised in Turkey.

Roughly three weeks before we were due to fly out to Turkey we had an email from Rosie advising us that Exclusive Escapes had gone into liquidation. It was panic stations then, as we thought our flights had gone, and we didn’t know whether the accommodation we had booked would be secure. I called Rosie who was calm and gave us the hotel’s contact details so I could get in touch directly. Gillian, the hotel owner, was wonderful and confirmed that our rooms would be held for us and we could settle up with them at the end of our stay.
Thankfully, although Exclusive Escapes had booked our flights for us, they were not their charter flights, so they had been paid for and were safe.
So , panic over, we were able to relax and look forward to our wedding.

It was the most wonderful stress free occasion. Happy in the knowledge that Rosie had arranged everything that end, registrar, flowers, photographer, etc., we were able to relax and enjoy our holiday. We had arrived on the Saturday and were getting married the following Friday.
We met up with her at the hotel to discuss final details , such as music, where the ceremony would actually take place, and then got on with our holiday !
When the day arrived we were snorkelling and sunbathing in the morning – what a perfect wedding day. The ceremony was at 5.30, and was exactly where we had wanted to get married, on a terrace right on the sea. Even the gale force wind that blew up didn’t matter, it was the perfect place, the perfect day. Rosie had interpreted exactly what we wanted.
After the ceremony we had the wedding breakfast in the hotel restaurant , a beautifully decorated table outside, again exactly what we wanted.
A surprise wedding cake completed the perfect day.

Although the wedding was an extremely small affair compared to the weddings that Rosie is used to organising, she treated it as though it was the wedding of the year – which of course it was, to us !

Mairead and Luke – Mavi Koy Villa – June 2015

My Husband (!) had been to Kalkan before and it was the first place we went on holiday together with his family, he had proposed a few months earlier so we were in the stages of wedding planning. Id never been keen on the idea of a wedding abroad but a few ‘signs’ later realised Kalkan would be an amazing place to say our vows. Initially we didn’t have a venue in mind so took to the internet to research weddings in Kalkan, upon searching and from a recommendation we found Kalkan concierge. I got in contact with Rosie through her website as we were planning to return for a wedding recon. Right from the offset she was so lovely and full of recommendations, we were able to meet up and without any pressure Rosie took us around a few places and was able to tell us how a wedding could be done there but also many other alternatives. I found her whole professional manner and easy going attitude so likable! I had decided after meeting her for the first time she would 100% be our wedding planner. We finally decided on Mavi Koi for our venue, this was through exclusive escapes and luckily Rosie is their wedding planner too!

For the year leading up to our wedding Rosie was always on hand to answer my barrage of emails full of questions, ideas and worries, always able to put my mind at ease.

She was available for discussions and help the moment we arrived in Kalkan for the wedding week; working with us to detail how and when things would happen, offering a completely bespoke service and helping with the legal side of things- I literally cannot imagine how we could have done this on our own! We had a few last minute changes which was no trouble at all!

She was also able to put us in contact with local services- hairdresser/cake/photographer- all of which were excellent and far surpassed my expectations.

On the day she was there setting up and stayed all throughout the wedding with her husband making sure things ran smoothly. I couldn’t recommend her enough, her and her husband worked so hard to ensure everything was perfect- I have no idea how but through pictures in emails she was able to recreate my idea of how my wedding would be perfectly, what could have been stressful wasn’t in the slightest. I was able to enjoy the whole week and the whole day safe in the knowledge it was being kept going by a wonderful, organised wedding planner!

As mirrored in other testimonials, pretty much everyone has said it was the best wedding they have ever been too, Thank you so much again for helping give us the best start in married life!

Layla & Mat – Mahal Beach Club – June 2015

We had been to Kalkan twice before, so when deciding on a wedding location, we knew Kalkan was going to be the right choice for us. From the first moment of getting in touch with Rosie we knew we had made the right choice. Rosie is very welcoming and friendly, and her service was just truly outstanding the whole time. She was always on hand to answer my many questions, and putting my mind at ease knowing that everything was in safe hands with her. That was confirmed even more when we first met Rosie – she really did instantly feel like a friend from the first moment we met up.

With Rosie’s help and guidance we ended up choosing the Mahal Beach Club for our ceremony and reception. We had a small wedding of 31 adults and 4 children – so the Mahal was just perfect for us to have the small intimate wedding we wanted, yet at such a stunning location. Rosie helped organise everything for us, from liaising with the Mahal regarding our food and drink preferences, and the flowers, which might I add were amazing – we were so happy with the flower arch and all the bouquets, button holes and table flowers.  Rosie also arranged the hairdresser trial and had her also come to the villa on the day to do my hair for me too – I was very happy with my hair, she arranged the photographer, who we were really very pleased with, and she arranged the water taxi to be available to bring me and my bridesmaid and brother over to the Mahal for the ceremony, and Rosie was also at the Mahal the whole day and evening of our wedding, making sure they day went as it should and timings were roughly being kept to. We could not recommend Rosie highly enough.

On the big day, everything went so smoothly, and that credit is all down to how organised Rosie is. I was not stressed at all at any part of the planning or on the wedding day itself – I am not sure many Brides can say that!

All of our guests said how amazing the venue was and how well the day went. Everyone also raved about the Mahal’s wedding day food and several people said they had never had such great wedding food – and we totally agree with that.

Choosing our destination wedding in Kalkan and having Rosie at Kalkan Concierge help us along the way was one of our best decisions, and even though we are now back home in the UK, we are both still smiling and so happy with how everything turned out – it really was the wedding of our dreams, a truly magical day for us.

Jacqui and Austin Judson Korsan Koy May 2015

Thank you Rosie! We had a fantastic wedding in Kalkan, and thanks to you all of our plans went smoothly so that we had the exact wedding day we had dreamt of. You ensured that we had no stress at all because you really listened and understood what sort of special day we wanted to achieve. The stunning setting of Kalkan made our day picture perfect!

Liam and Charley Nicoll Indigo Beach Club May 2015

We decided on our 3rd visit to Kalkan after getting engaged there the year before, that it would be the perfect place for us to get married!!! Well, we definitely made the right decision with that and also entrusting Rosie to organise it all!! We looked at a few venues and then decided Indigo Beach bar would be the right place.

We got married 18 months after our 1st meeting with Rosie….lots of emails and photos being exchnaged….mainly because of me being an excited and eager bride wanting to get in and sort it all early , as we knew we had a large number attending , and Rosie telling me “not to worry” and “we can hold off for a while until we sort that”.

Rosie was always available to talk and answer any questions which was a massive help when it came to the legal side of it.

We had a slight wobble on the morning of the wedding due to weather (which will always be a story to tell) but i can not describe enough, how thoughtful/concerning/ organised and efficient that Rosie was on the day , we had to discuss other options and back up plans and then when it was decided about 45minutes later that it would go ahead…. everything just ran so smoothly despite having to juggle timings etc.

On that note, a thank you must go out to Ahmed and his team at Indigo in helping with the smooth running of the day.

Even after the wedding , we were not just left to it. Rosie kept in touch to make sure all went smoothly after she left and ran through any other questions we had. Having an English wedding planner abroad that can speak fluent languages is absolutely priceless .. i had concerns on music and hair right through until we arrived in Kalkan the week before , despite Rosie saying all would be fine with the people she offers you in the wedding packages …and she was,of course correct!! we could not imagine going through all the planning etc ourselves! We could not have done it all without her.

We can not thank Rosie enough for the help for the 18months prior to wedding and of course the 2 weeks we were there for when the time finally arrived! We would definitely recommend her and her team.

All of our guests were amazed at how beautiful the wedding was and how beautiful Kalkan is(Although we hope they dont visit it to often we want to keep it a special place Ha)

Our day was absolutely perfect …we only wish it had lasted longer or that we could come back and do it all again!!!

Sumitra and Chris Bell Likya Hotel and Pavillion Restaurant October 2014

“Thank you so much Rosie for making our dream wedding become a reality.  You were great to work with in the run up to the wedding and knowing that you were there on the day to make sure everything was running smoothly really put our minds at ease and meant we were really able to relax and enjoy every second of our special day .  We weren’t able to come to Kalkan in the months before the wedding, but with your expert guidance, we knew that everything was in hand and on the weekend itself everything went brilliantly.  We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day”

Rachel and Carl Clasper – Indigo September 2014

Getting married in Kalkan was the best decision we could ever have made – and using Kalkan Concierge as our wedding planners without a doubt made the whole experience so much more enjoyable and stress-free. I would describe Rosie as a warm, friendly but a very professional woman and definitely someone you want around when you’re trying to plan a wedding abroad! She was absolutely brilliant – from the very first coffee on Kalkan harbour where we met up to discuss the service she offered, to the last day of our wedding week when she popped by our villa to say goodbye, we really couldn’t fault her. We were able to email Rosie from the UK the whole way through the wedding-planning process and she was always quick to get back to us with ideas, suggestions, prices etc.

We would have found it very difficult to plan every little detail from the UK all by ourselves so it was a huge help having Rosie based in Kalkan and fluent in Turkish so she could liaise with florists, boat captains, venues, registrars etc. on our behalf. She was also full of useful tips due to the fact that she and Feridun had organised a number of weddings prior to ours. In the days immediately before the wedding Rosie was available to chat through everything, put the final touches on things and calm my nerves when I was panicking there might be thunderstorms! On the day itself Rosie and Feridun took on all the organisational side of things, leaving Carl and I free to enjoy the happiest day of our lives with all our loved ones, without having to worry about decorations, flowers, timings etc. I can honestly say we now consider Rosie a friend not just a wedding planner and we would urge anyone planning to get married in beautiful Kalkan to use the help of Kalkan Concierge – it’s worth every penny!

Jessica and Steven Winstone – Adair Mavi Koy June 2014

Whilst I knew Kalkan well and had been many times, we knew we couldn’t manage the wedding organisation from London so I got in touch with Rosie from Kalkan Concierge after searching the internet and asking our travel company (who had just stopped their wedding planning offering at the time). We flew out specifically to meet Rosie and view the venues but this wasn’t essential – from the minute we met her though it was like catching up with an old friend and that carried on throughout the whole process. I am very particular and have high standards, and it was important that everything went as well as it could. Rosie supported us through the whole process of planning the wedding via email down to every last detail. I even arranged for some items to be shipped out to her in advance for safe keeping which was really appreciated. The fact that she’s based there and speaks fluent Turkish but is aware of the UK traditions was also invaluable.

When we arrived for the wedding week she was there with us the next morning to put plans into action. We had a week of events planned (mixer drinks, dinners, chartering a gulet and a chill out BBQ at the venue the day after the wedding) and Rosie didn’t restrict her help to just the wedding day, she helped us with lots of other bits too – it was never a case of “oh thats not included” or “we dont do that”.

We had hired the beautiful villa Mavi Koy as our venue and had planned our entire wedding outside – unfortunately when the day of our wedding arrived, gale force winds (in June!) had torn through the property overnight leaving trees pulled down and the property in a dire state. The beautiful draped material that Feridun had spent most of the previous day hanging for us was completely destroyed. What was worse was that the winds hadn’t died down and we were due to have had our ceremony right next to the water, which was just too dangerous. I was told that it wouldn’t be possible to have the wedding as we had planned and Rosie and our caterer Jimmy (from Gironda, also wonderful) suggested alternatives. Unfortunately none of these were what we’d had in mind and we decided to delay the wedding by a day to keep our day as we’d spent a year planning. Rosie and her team were outstanding in rearranging everything (and dealing with a very emotional bride) and our wedding day went ahead 24 hours later than planned more or less exactly as we’d hoped.

We’d decided not to do the legal ceremony in Kalkan due to the time of day we wanted to get married but Rosie arranged for a local official to do a Turkish reading which made our ceremony feel authentic. We also got to do personal vows and readings which meant alot to us. We had our ceremony at 3.30pm by the water front with a champagne and canape reception on an upper terrace level with a fantastic music duo from Istanbul. Then followed a formal sit down meal by the waters edge for the 35 guests and dancing afterwards.

In the end, not everything went exactly to plan but we had a fantastic wedding day to remember and Rosie did her utmost to make us happy, she could not have done more. You get the feeling that she’s personally invested and really cares – she got involved with our family and friends and it felt like I had a friend watching out for everything on the day. She excelled herself tremendously on our wedding week and I would not hesitate in recommending her and her team – if you have any concerns about the cost, it will pale into insignificance when you realise her value and we would have paid more for her services and still felt it was good value. We could not have done it without her. Our travel company Exclusive Escapes (who were also great) have also started using her as their dedicated wedding planner which is further testament to her abilities.

Ellie and Ollie Morrison – Indigo Beach Club September 2014

Wow…. Where to start. The 20th September 2014 was truly the best day of my life (and my husbands I think) but before I talk about the actual day let’s go back to the beginning.

We were youngish, madly in love, engaged, not rich with a lot of disposable cash and wanting to get married. We made the decision that we wanted to tie the knot abroad and Kalkan was a natural choice for many reasons but mainly as it was so beautiful and we had visited it many times. Now we had the idea of the place the next huge step was where to start with the planning as both of us were clueless on the legalities of marrying there and how we could organise anything over there with us being in Blighty.

Step up; Kalkan Concierge… We found this fantastic company by a recommendation of a friend who lived in Kalkan. I contacted the company prior to a holiday planned for August 2013 and arranged to meet Rosie during the vacation. On our first meeting I instantly felt warm towards Rosie. She was friendly, had the best ideas and was clearly the most organised women in the world. Within two and a half hours I had basically planned the whole foundations of our wedding. I knew the venue (Indigo), how the day would run, how the legal side of things would run, the evening entertainment and what food we would eat. I even met the owner of the venue who was also very nice.

Over the next 13 months I exchanged regular emails with Rosie planning the big day. Now I look back, I still can’t find a time I was stressed out. Rosie talked me step by step through everything. She sent me the exact links to apply for legal certificates in the UK and was totally open to all my ideas about decorations ect. I didn’t have to give my final numbers for the wedding until two weeks before and I was able to give the DJ a song specific play list. Rosie also helped giving examples of wedding vows.

So September 13th came along and we were at Birmingham airport. We had 91 people coming out to our wedding and I was so excited I could burst. I had a slight panic that I was so chilled out. I had no issues with baggage. The only very slight pain was that we had to take our own prosecco for the toasts (as Kalkan doesn’t offer it) but we dished it out to all our relatives to bring over so it wasn’t an issue. Once arrived in Kalkan we only had to spend half a day visiting near by Kas to meet the wedding registrar and check through the table decorations. Anything you bring with you Rosie is open to and will do all decorations how you want. Rosie also goes out of her way to check all your guests are happy and also lent us a baby walker for my nephew who was 8 months old. In the week I had my hair trial which went amazingly and the most lovely pedicure.

So the big day arrived…. Nerves kicked in but mainly huge excitement. Typically a cloud was in the sky (unheard in Kalkan) which gave me a few minutes of concern. The morning flew by with my bridal party, it was a serene picture which I would never have thought possible on a wedding day. The hairdresser arrived first. My sister, my mum and my four bridesmaids were given stunning hairstyles. My turn was next and it turned out better than I ever thought. I was nervous about the hairstyling as I didn’t know whether there would be a communication block but I should have never worried. My hairdressers were the most skilled people and gave me a fab up do, just as I showed them in the picture. Once I was ready I went downstairs to find our flowers had arrived. they were delicate and beautiful. Rosie had chosen wonderfully as I am not that clued up in the world of flowers. The photographer than spent a good 30 minutes with me taking some lovely photos. They were arty, had fabulous lighting and were not standard boring photos.
When I turned up to the venue I was overtaken by emotion. It looked stunning. The flower arch where were married beneath had the most radiant colours in. The whole setting was wonderful. I don’t actually have words to describe it. The sun glittering over the sea was just magical and all our guests looked wonderfully relaxed. All our music worked without glitch, we got married right on the sea level and moved up to a higher level post ceremony. Rosie acted as a great master of ceremonies. The day ran like clock work. Our pictures were taken professionally including the grouped ones we wanted. Our meal quickly came round and the food was delicious. Speeches hilarious and well heard. The night was also brilliant. DJ was top class and we continued to party until 5 in the morning.

Our memories were captured in our photos perfectly. We can not thank Rosie enough for creating our perfect day. Every guest said it was the best wedding they had been to. I was recommend it to anyone and I recommend using Rosie and Kalkan concierge to anyone I knew.

If you want the most stress free wedding, wonderful day then do it the Kalkan way.

Laura and David Dewar – Hotel Fidanka June 2014

Thank you for all of your hard work leading up to the 21st June and beforehand. The day was magical and it went even better than we had imagined.
Rosie – your attention to detail, your genuine care and personal interest in our special day was evident right from the start.
You were far more than just “The Wedding Planner” and it felt like we had known you for years. We felt at ease straight away and you were able to answer any questions we had about the process. The blood tests and legal side went smoothly and we both felt relaxed on the day, ready to enjoy every minute.
We highly recommend Kalkan Concierge and are so glad that we followed our dream of becoming husband and wife in a place we both love with just close family as guests.
Once again, thank you Rosie. You made our dream come true!!

Sammy Jo and Ben – Indigo Beach Club October 2013

I first had contact with Kalkan Concierge (Rosie) in March 2013 regarding my son’s wedding, I had already visited Kalkan on holiday so I knew what a beautiful place it was. Rosie was very prompt at sending me all the information I needed regarding pricing and different options, I felt very comfortable and reassured by her correspondence and knew I was dealing with a very professional person but also someone that understood all our needs. We did not have a massive budget and we then decided that my son and his future wife would have a very small wedding in England and a wedding celebration with all our family and friends in Kalkan, the ceremony in Kalkan was just like a wedding.  The wedding date was booked for early October, I went to Kalkan in June where I met with Rosie and picked the location for the wedding and reception.  We decided on Indigo beach club, we had 50 guests at the wedding, the celebration was at sunset followed by Prosecco on the lower terrace while they prepared the tables for dinner which was a fantastic meze then a disco, we had the whole of the beach club to ourselves, Rosie was present for everything making sure every last detail was perfect,( and it was) from the decorations, photographer, cake, food, ceremony and DJ for the disco.  Her patience for dealing with the most laid back bride and groom who left everything to the last minute!

I have not the tiniest regret or complaint, she gave us a millionaires wedding for a paupers price.

A massive thank you from every one at the wedding, a day never to be forgotten beautiful memories to last a life time

Mona and Sherief –Patara Resort June 2013

Choosing Kalkan Concierge was the best decision we made and would highly recommend Rosie for anyone who is considering having a wedding in Kalkan. Words cannot describe my gratitude to Rosie; she really made our wedding day very memorable and special.  Patara Prince is a beautiful venue that boasts amazing views for a romantic wedding setting. Rosie’s organisational skills were impeccable and she dealt with all our requests efficiently, despite being in the middle of wedding season and having a number of other weddings to organise. We were very happy with the flowers, decor, cake, band and DJ. Rosie speaks fluent Turkish which made it easy to communicate with all suppliers on what we wanted. We had a large and diverse group who had travelled from all over the world to attend our wedding, yet Rosie was un flustered in dealing with the various demands on the day and ensured everything ran seamlessly.  Rosie is a lovely person who understands brides’ demands and what it means to have a perfect wedding day. We wish we could turn back the clock to relive that day again!

Mona and Sherief

A message from OB Sisay, wedding guest

Rosie, weddings are stressful and special.  Brides are annoying and demanding.  A big blessing is an organiser who makes stress a mirage.  Thank you for your sterling work, you have made us a truly special and memorable event.  Your organisation is elegant, efficient and effervescent!  Planner par excellence!

Sian and Tom –Meldi Hotel May 2013

Rosie and all those at Kalkan Concierge made dealing with the Turkish red tape such a stress free experience, which was even more important as I was 6 months pregnant at the time. We honestly expected to be running around Turkey for days of our holiday, it was a relief to have finished all the travelling in 1 day and then only have a brief visit to the register the morning before I was let loose shopping in the market.

Rosie was a fantastic master of ceremonies and managed to fuse together traditional vows to an otherwise Turkish ceremony. Rosie made sure that the whole day went extremely smoothly, and made sure that we were not stressing about anything (even sent us a text in the morning telling us not to worry about the rain as it was due to brighten up by midday – not sure what strings she pulled but we had brilliant sunshine for the ceremony and meal).

The following day we noticed a discrepancy on the wedding book this was by no means the fault of Kalkan Concierge, but the local town hall. After texting Rosie this was resolved within an hour with no disruption to our holiday, all in all Rosie made the whole wedding go wonderfully. We would whole heartedly recommend Kalkan Concierge to anyone who is getting married in Kalkan, thanks again Rosie.

Anne and Mark – Patara Resort August 2012

My husband & I stumbled across Kalkan in June 2011.

We decided that Kalkan would make a perfect venue to hold our dream wedding and we were recommended Kalkan Concierge by an English couple who live in Kalkan.  It’s every Brides dream to have the perfect wedding and from sending the very first email to Rosie I knew that I was in safe hands.  I knew exactly what I wanted but with being a million miles away I did have worries but Rosie made sure that I was put at ease.  We communicated by email and telephone and we would regularly send pictures to each other to ensure we were both on the same wave length.

Rosie is super efficient and a wonderful person.  I was a little concerned regarding the Turkish legal system regarding all our documentation, but she made sure that we were all organised before leaving the UK and once we arrived in Kalkan she made all the necessary arrangements including private car with driver to take us to Antalya, it was such a stress free day.

Getting married in Kalkan was the best decision we could have made.  Rosie’s organisational skills are second to none.  She speaks fluent Turkish which made it easy to communicate with all the suppliers on what exactly we wanted.  Nothing was impossible to Rosie she made every effort to make sure we got what we asked for, even down to the hanging lanterns from the trees!  The weather was perfect, the venue at Patara Prince was romantic, the food was out of this world and we finished our evening down at the harbour front dancing the night away and Rosie was there to the end.  I would also like to pay special thanks to Rosie’s husband, Feridun, who assisted on our wedding day, especially the sound system for the wedding ceremony, truly amazing.

Words cannot describe my thanks to Rosie for making our dream wedding come true, without her superb organisational skills, her knowledge of the area, her professionalism, we would never of had the most amazing wedding at Patara Prince, Kalkan.

I have no hesitation in recommending Kalkan Concierge to organise your dream wedding in Kalkan.

Rosie and Feridun come highly recommended and are true friends.

Mandy & Pete | Club Patara 2012

Because the marriage process in Turkey seemed a little overwhelming with the amount of detail required and the difficulty of arranging the wedding from the UK, Mandy & I decided that we needed to hire a coordinator to help us with our big day. We were given a verbal recommendation for Kalkan Concierge.

From the very first contact, we both knew that Rosie understood exactly what we wanted. Communication from Rosie was first class. She was able to explain in detail exactly what she could do for us and what she required from us. As a large part of our planning was done by e-mail, Rosie was very efficient and prompt in her replies.

Rosie and her assistant, Kerri were without a doubt organised and professional throughout. Both are extremely knowledgeable in the etiquette and dynamics of Wedding Planning, not to mention the peculiarities involved with the documentation and medical aspects of the marriage process in Turkey.

Our special day went exactly how we hoped it would; it was such a fantastic day, made possible in every way by the attention to detail given by Rosie and Kerry.

We are so grateful for the expert orchestration you gave to our special day. We consider it a privilege to have worked with someone who translated our vision with such style and professionalism. Every detail exceeded our expectations and our family and guests were thoroughly impressed with your talents. We sincerely thank you for making our wedding day a day we will always remember.

On reflection it was a totally stress free planned wedding with maximum enjoyment for us and all our guests, Kalkan is the most wonderful place to marry and the local people and Brits alike were exceptionally helpful.

Choosing Kalkan Concierge was the best decision we ever made and we would recommend them to anyone wishing to marry in Kalkan.

Sheena and Mark Huggett Palm Beach Club 2011

Kalkan Concierge organised our June 2011 wedding in Kalkan and we are so glad that they did! From the moment I picked up the phone and spoke to Rosie I knew that she would give us the dream Kalkan wedding that we imagined.

From planning the day over the course of about 8 months to the actual day itself, Rosie was fantastic. She really has her finger on the pulse and ensures that everything happens exactly the way you want it to, there are no compromises. During the planning process, Rosie and I discussed in detail exactly what my now husband and I were looking for in our wedding and we were able to tailor the day to perfection.

I had never met Rosie in person as we did most of our wedding planning via email, but meeting her was wonderful, she was so warm and friendly but extremely professional and all the little details we had discussed over the past 8 months were down in her folder which was really reassuring.

Rosie organised everything from my hair trial at the hairdressers to the flowers, table decorations, cake, fireworks, music, photography, transport and of course the ceremony and reception, down to the last bottle of champagne and the fireworks! Rosie was on hand throughout the week prior to our wedding if we had any questions and on the day itself from start to finish.

Getting married in Kalkan was the best decision we ever made. The weather was beautiful, the views were stunning and the day flowed beautifully – we could never have organised our dream wedding on our own and we are so pleased that we chose Kalkan Concierge to do it for us.

I would not hesitate to recommend Kalkan Concierge to anyone looking to get married in Kalkan. We had over 40 guests at our wedding and all of them said that it was the best wedding that they had ever been to. You will have an extremely special and memorable day and you will definitely not be disappointed.

My husband and I would totally recommend Kalkan Concierge and Rosie if you are looking to hold your wedding in Kalkan.  As the bride, from the moment I met Rosie (and thereafter dealing with her over the phone, skype and email) I knew that I could trust her with every detail of the wedding (despite usually being a bit of a control-freak!!).  Not only is Rosie super organised, professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with, she also has the benefit of understanding exactly what you want from your day (i.e. having grown up in England she understands all the English wedding traditions) but is fluent in Turkish and also lives in Kalkan.  She therefore has personal knowledge of the suppliers and venues and is able to articulate all your requirements perfectly.

There was no stress involved despite only flying out to Kalkan a week before the wedding (with 35 guests!!).  Rosie had everything in hand and we were able to just relax and enjoy the excitement and build up.  We were so happy with our day, the photographs, decor, flowers and cake etc and Rosie had organised all of this.  Given the amount of paperwork and also the legal requirements to get married in Turkey I can’t see how it would be possible to get married without a wedding planner and Rosie made this all so smooth and easy.  I can’t praise Rosie and her company enough – she was such an important part of the day and we still keep in touch now.  She comes highly recommended.
